Dr. Craig Zion Cain, founder of the Kiso method has practiced for over 20 years. He has practiced in California for over 13 years, in Japan for 2 years and  in Hawaii for the past 5 years.  When  he was  an intern at Palmer College of Chiropractic West, in San Jose California, he  began  developing the Kiso Method. By accident, while working with a patient on the knee chest table, he became aware of a non force low back technique with incredible results. He dedicated himself to the further development of this low back technique for the next 10 years. Then slowly, he began to see the incredible power of a new cervico-cranial method  which had never been discovered before.  All of Doctor Cain's techniques are unique and original. The Kiso method has a strong scientific methodology as well as an unseen "spiritual" aspect.

The entire system has been written into two manuals, two for non-chiropractic practitioners, such as massage therapists, physical therapists, acupuncterists etc .  Two manuals have been written for chiropractors, also these two manuals have been translated into Japanese by the Monterey Institute of Languages.  A new self help book has been written for the lay person who wants to learn the "secrets of healing back pain".  We offer all the manuals and our self help book in e-book form, which will be available shortly from our website.  Finally, we offer Seminars in Hilo, California and Japan.  Look for dates posted on our website!
Kiso means the "foundation of internal energy".

The first character means "KI"  in Japanese or chi in Chinese.  The second character "SO" means foundation.  The name for this technique unifies the link between "heaven and earth" or between the physical and the spiritual.

Manual One focuses on the low back and pelvis.  In the human frame, this is our "foundation".
Manual two focuses on the Yin and Yang aspect of our nervous systems, the para-sympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems which entails the influence of the Cervico-Cranial system.
The techniques used in the Kiso method are original and unique.  The underlying theory of the Kiso method is new and never seen before.  The Cervico-Cranial portion of the Kiso method is completely unlike the Cranio-Sacral technique used in the popular CST seminars.  The Kiso method has a completely different focus and concentrates on the second part of the cranio-sacral pump. Which, in the cranial sacral system, is the easiest to influence by a practitioner.
